Meet Camp Counselor Kayla

Camp Counselor Kayla lives in Hudson Falls, New York with her dog Sage and her cat Zari! Sage is a 5 year old Sheltie mix rescue and Zari is a 2 year old domestic shorthair rescue. When she's not at camp, Kayla channels her passion into all things creative, from designing and crafting dog-related items to capturing their unique personalities through photography.

 

Kayla's lifelong love for dogs grew even stronger in 2023 when she adopted her own pup, igniting her belief that every dog deserves an adventurous life. She excels at understanding individual canine personalities and creating a safe, fun space where they can truly thrive. Kayla is passionate about canine behavior and enrichment, constantly expanding her knowledge through hands-on experience and continuous reading. She also frequently hikes with friends and their dogs along with dog sitting her dog niece and nephew, which allows her to observe and learn from a variety of canine interactions.

 

Kayla's approach focuses on empowering dogs to express their natural instincts, providing a blend of structured guidance and personalized activities that lead to both learning and joyful play.
